Steve Reinhardt has worked on parallel system design issues for several years, starting with Cray vector systems (Autotasking) and more recently for Cray’s T3D and T3E systems and SGI’s Altix (scalable IPF/Linux) systems. He’s currently working on SGI’s project under the DARPA High Productivity Computer Systems project.
