Scott McClellan

Scott McClellan is currently the CTO of the High Performance Technical Computing Division at Hewlett-Packard. Scott’s background includes 19+ years of experience at Hewlett-Packard. Scott spent many years as lead architect on Hewlett-Packard’s proprietary operating system MPE. The MPE operating system and the HP3000 platform was a very successful product line for Hewlett-Packard with a very large, very loyal installed base. Scott worked in a "start-up" business within HP to develop Carrier Grade servers for the Telecommunications industry. Scott was the High Availability architect responsible for developing the HA strategy to meeting the exacting requirements (>99.9999% service availability) for Telco. Post-merger, Scott became the CTO of the newly created High Performance Technical Computing Division in HP. Scott is ultimately responsible for setting the "course and speed" for HP’s HPTC business.
