Biography
Dan manages the Optimization & Uncertainty Quantification Department at Sandia. This department provides leadership in the research, development, and application of scientific optimization and UQ algorithms and software (design optimization, parameter estimation, uncertainty quantification, and sensitivity analyses). This department also maintains partnerships at many levels and collaborates actively with other government institutions, universities and industry.
Dan is also on the Board of Directors for the International Digital Image Correlation Society (iDICs) and is the lead developer for the Digital Image Correlation Engine (DICe).
