Bio

Suzanne M. Kelly was a distinguished member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories. Sue holds a BS in computer science from the University of Michigan and an MS in computer science from Boston University. She recently completed a two year assignment in Washington, DC as a technical advisor to DOE/NNSA's Advanced Simulation & Computing (ASC) office. Throughout her career, Sue worked on projects related to system-level software, and less recently in information systems. She provided project management to the Structural Simulation Toolkit (SST) project. Sue was a technical contributor to a Power API project designed to enable software steering for energy management. She also helped provide advanced architecture testbeds to ASC and other scientific code developers. She had oversight responsibility for the system software on the Cielo computer and for the massively parallel processing systems, Red Storm and ASCI Red. Prior to her 6-year work in information systems for nuclear defense technologies, she worked on various High Performance Computing file archive systems.
