Current projects: 2008-now
The two following projects are now available in
Trilinos 9 and are packages of the
Trilinos Meshes, Geometry and Load Balancing Capabilities.
- Zoltan:
Parallel Partitioning, Load Balancing and Data-Management Services toolkit. It's a free software available separately from Trilinos on GPL license. For now, my work was essentially to integrate third party library like ParMetis or Scotch. To do this, I've redesigned the third party library interface for both partitioning and ordering. On the research point of view, I also search how to improve our multi-level algorithm.
- Isorropia :
a Trilinos package to do load-balancing, partitioning, coloring and ordering on Epetra data structures. I've contributed to re-factor and redesign the code to add the interface of coloring and ordering, the computational kernels being available in Zoltan.
Past projects: 2004-2007
- Scotch:
is a software package and libraries for graph, mesh and hypergraph partitioning, static mapping, and parallel and sequential sparse matrix block ordering. During my PhD thesis I have contributed to do the first part of parallel multi-level routines and we have produced a parallel sparse matrix ordering tool for Cholesky factorization.
