Biography and CV

Background

Cédric was born in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Correze, France, in 1982. After a (long, in my opinion) time of study, he is now in the South West, not the french one but in Albuquerque, NM, USA.

Educational Biography

Cédric earned the title of Engineer in Computer Science after his studies at ENSEIRB (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique, d'Informatique et de Radiocommunications de Bordeaux) in 2004. The same year, he obtained a Master degree in Computer Science at the Université de Bordeaux I.

Advised by Dr Francois Pellegrini and Pr Jean Roman , he earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2007 with dissertation Design and implementation of efficient tools for parallel partitioning and distribution of very large numerical problems .

Since the end of 2007, I am a postdoc working in the Scalable Algorithms department in the Computation, Computers, Information and Mathematics center at Sandia National Laboratories . My work is essentially supported by the CSCAPES institute of SciDAC.
