ASC Level 2 Milestone for error-corrected reliability analysis of MEMS: Collaborated with MEMS analysts and code developers to couple DAKOTA with SIERRA/Aria to analyze and design a microelectromechanical bistable mechanism. Compared merits of and debugged various uncertainty quantification (UQ) methods in DAKOTA using this engineering application. Employed quantity-of-interest error estimates from Aria to perform error-corrected UQ and reliability-based design optimization. For details see SAND2006-6286.
