New Mexico In Focus: Blowin' In The Wind

KNME TV's, New Mexico In Focus, in celebration of Earth Day, featured a half-hour episode (#239) profiling the emergence of renewable energy technologies and practices in New Mexico.

There were interviews with representatives from Sandia National Laboratory's Wind Energy Technology Department, Public Service Company of New Mexico, and New Mexico's Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department, about what makes New Mexico ideal for wind technology. There was also a short film about Corona, a small and remote New Mexico town that may be nearing a renaissance as wind turbine production and installation accelerate in the area.
