15th IEEE International Pulsed Power Conference

The 15th IEEE International Pulsed Power Conference will be held June 13 – 17, 2005, at the Portola Plaza Hotel and the adjacent Monterey Convention Center in Monterey, California. This biennial Conference is the principal forum for the exchange of information on pulsed power technology and engineering, and the Conference proceedings serve as the major archival source of papers published in this field. PPC2005 registration is Monday, with technical sessions Tuesday – Friday, immediately preceding the 2005 International Conference on Plasma Science, which starts the following Sunday at the same location to enhance the interaction between these two communities.

Monterey is 90 miles south of San Francisco with a contrast of balmy, pristine beaches and dramatic, rugged cliffs. Unlimited recreational and cultural activities offer choices of adventurous excursions or relaxing outings for accompanying guests and families. The Conference site is the Portola Plaza Hotel, located at the very heart of the famous Monterey Peninsula. Many appealing activities for every interest and age group are located within walking or biking distance from the hotel. California’s Mission Trail, Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, one of the world’s best aquariums, galleries and shops, parks and wildlife areas, as well as 17 world-class golf courses are among the many attractions that make attending this Conference enjoyable for everyone.
