Sandia maintains a core competency in digital Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and system-on-chip design. Our engineers design and develop ASICs for high consequence applications targeting a variety of fabrication technologies down to the 90nm feature size. We have expertise in VHDL, Verilog, Modeling and Simulation, Design Synthesis, and Physical Design. We also have expertise in the design of radiation-hardened integrated circuits and security based designs.
We maintain a set of digital intellectual property modules that are targetable to any process technology. Intellectual property cores include processors, standard interfaces, and cryptographic algorithms.
