The potential of the devices and systems that can be created using MEMS technologies boggles the mind. Because you want to spend your time innovating, we have developed a series of tools to facilitate the design and layout process. These tools are utilized by students while in the short course and are available to the public for a fee.
The mission for the MEMS Design and Analysis services group at Sandia is to improve first-pass design success in MEMS by providing tools and expertise in design layout, modeling and simulation, and visualization. This enables our national security customers to effectively utilize state-of-the-art fabrication technologies.
