Sandia can help integrate and protect a secure system of information assets that would help the Department of Defense in a variety of functions, including simulations, training, and testing.
For example:
- We protect wired and wireless networks, using our modeling and simulation tools for secure cyber architectures, network vulnerability, and performance evaluation.
- We develop cryptographic systems that protect networks of the highest sensitivity.
- We develop cyber tools, such as tools for custom rapid prototyping of hardware, firmware, and software, as well as mission-driven systems for determining the effects of cyber attacks and constructing attack path defenses.
- We have capabilities in red teaming. This involves analyzing systems—often by staging mock attacks—to understand and harden vulnerabilities.
We do extensive analysis to understand infrastructure interconnectedness and the effects of the failure of one infrastructure element on other elements.
