Securing our vast border and transportation network requires sophisticated solutions. Recognizing the complexity, Sandia fully analyzes problems and develops solutions that comprehensively address key issues. We typically incorporate geopolitical, environmental, and economic considerations, and integrate risk and vulnerability assessments to maximize the value of our solutions.

Sandia was responsible for project management and analyzing trade lane security, which involves evaluating systems and commercial security components, such as sensors, seals, locks, and cameras.
Sandia approaches trade lane security by examining the end-to-end system, from the overseas factory where products are made, to packing of shipping containers, to unloading and transport of containers within the United States.
