Location

The Sainte Claire Hotel is a hexagonal six-story hotel in downtown San Jose, California, one of the city's most recognized architectural landmarks. It was built in 1926 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Hotel Sainte Claire enjoyed the status of being a premiere grand hotel and the reputation of having the most elegant accommodations. It offers excellent amenities like valet parking, complimentary wireless Internet, a complimentary DVD movie library, a 24-hour business center, and a fitness room.

Reservation 

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Sainte Claire Hotel at a special conference rate of $121.00 a night,  plus state and local taxes. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis. All bookings must be made before September 16, 2012 to receive this special conference rate. Please be aware that the room block may fill quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early to take advantage of this great rate.

Cancellation

Guaranteed individual reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to individual's arrival date to avoid penalty of one night's room and tax.

Valet parking ($21 per night with unlimited in and out privileges)

Taxi Service available from San Jose Airport for a fee starting @ $20 (not including gratuity) with a 15-20 minute drive from Airport to Hotel.

Taxi Service available from San Fransico Airport for a fee starting from $140-$160 (not including gratuity) with a 45-1.5 drive (depending on traffic) from Airport to Hotel.

Hotel town car available if call for reservations prior. No shuttle service available through Hotel.

Your support in staying at The Sainte Claire Hotel helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. Sandia guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference.  Sandia incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the IMR conference. Future registration fees could increase to cover these additional risks.
