Collaborations

Sandia's hydrogen work is carried out by multidisciplinary scientists and engineers located in Livermore, California, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. This work frequently involves collaborations with universities, government agencies, and private sector companies. These collaborations range from small, joint efforts on very specific research areas to broad, multi-partner efforts, such as the Metal Hydride virtual Center of Excellence.

Sandia is currently involved in the following collaborations:

  • International Workshop on Modeling and Validation of Combustion in Gas Turbines - A forum for open and ongoing international collaborations among gas turbine combustion experimentalists and researchers
  • International Energy Agency Working Group - An international group of researchers working to further develop low-emission, high-efficiency gas turbine combustors
  • American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Working Group - A working group seeking to improve large eddy simulation for the development of predictive design tools for the next generation of aerospace industrial applications
  • Metal Hydride virtual Center of Excellence
