The 2014 DOE/OE Energy Storage Program Peer Review meeting will be held Sept. 17-19 at the Renaissance Washington Hotel, Washington DC, highlighting the breadth and diversity of the DOE Energy Storage program.
More than 100 projects will be presented, spanning electro-chemistry and materials development, component and system testing, economic and system analysis, and full demonstrations. More than 360 people representing multiple countries attended the 2012 Peer Review, and more than 400 people are expected in 2014.
DOE's Energy Storage Systems (ESS) Program is sponsoring the three-day event, which will feature projects from Sandia National Laboratories, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. ARRA, ARPA-E, SBIR, and university energy-storage projects will also be presented.
The DOE/OE Peer Review meetings are held annually, either in conjunction with the biennial EESAT Conferences or independantly through the ESS program.
