Granting or permitting exceptions or violations of policy, process, or procedure without authority, regardless of position or title, may be cause for disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. This procedure describes the requirements for identifying, submitting, and using lessons learned through the SNL Lessons Learned system.
SNL's ES&H Operating Experience or Lessons Learned Program helps implement SNL's Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) Feedback and Improve safety management core function. The program captures, analyzes, and disseminates ES&H lessons learned information which applies to line operations. The goal of SNL’s ES&H Lessons Learned Program is to assist all personnel in the safe and efficient conduct of work by learning from the past experiences and avoiding the recurrence of unplanned events that adversely impact personnel, the environment, or mission results.
