- Provide standard documents that promote green building practices that allign with the credits defined by the LEED rating system and Guiding Principles for High Performance and Sustainable Buildings.
- Move toward industry standards that lower life cycle and initial costs.
- Clearly define the desired level of quality and performance
required for design, construction, and operations of buildings and infrastructure.
- Continuously improve the standards by addressing life safety, life-cycle cost, green building, energy efficiency, and security.
