- Prof. Kaushik Bhattacharya, California
Institute of Technology and Prof. Rohan Abeyaratne, Massachusetts Institute of Technology have been working jointly on the modeling of
material defects such as dislocations and phase boundaries using
the peridynamic theory. Also they are trying to derive a
continuum description of a material using this model directly from
an atomistic physical description
- Boeing
- Dr. Abe Askari is working on modeling of fatigue cracks and
composite material failure.
- Century
Dynamics Inc. - Century Dynamics will be creating a Windows
version of the code with a GUI.
