Invited candidates will interview with technical managers for approximately 1–2 days for consideration for full-time, regular positions. During these interviews, candidates have an opportunity to meet potential co-workers and tour departments. In addition, a variety of technical tours will be offered on the final day of the event to provide additional insight into the exciting work that's being done across our Laboratories and to provide a strategic understanding of our mission.
All PhD candidates selected to participate will be asked to give a technical presentation on the first day of the event. PhD candidates should be prepared to present to a general technical audience for approximately 45 minutes and answer questions on the research presented for approximately 15 minutes following the presentation. A "host" (technical) manager will be assigned to each candidate to assist with presentation logistics.
Candidates interested in employment opportunities with Sandia/California will also have opportunities to meet technical management and explore the exciting work being done at this facility.
