Transpoint - A joint venture of Microsoft and First Data Corp. The nation's first end-to-end system for Internet bill delivery and payment. Adheres to open standards and protocols to ensure the broadest possible distribution of e-bills. Employs Open Financial Exchange (OFX) specifications.
WebDI - a web-based service that allows any two trading partners to exchange business information electronically, regardless of their back-office systems. WebDI takes information from one trading partner, translates it to the second trading partner's desired format, and delivers that information right where it's needed. All you need to use WebDI is Internet access.

Biztalk.org - Microsoft BizTalk Framework - a set of tools and technologies that define a consistent approach to using the standard Extended Markup Language (XML) as well as a philosophy that is driving open standards into our products. Defines a way of thinking about and managing the information flows that move between business processes. This information flow directly equates to making two or more applications work together (application integration). Biztalk.org will serve as a centralized and managed library that will let companies and software vendors share information schemas, XSL and business processes that are supported by applications that support the BizTalk Framework.
Commerce.net - Non-profit consortium of Internet companies. Does not develop standards. It feeds information to standards-setting bodies.

ebXML.org - ebXML is a set of specifications that together enable a modular electronic business framework. The vision of ebXML is to enable a global electronic marketplace where enterprises of any size and in any geographical location can meet and conduct business with each other through the exchange of XML based messages. ebXML is a joint initiative of the United Nations (UN/CEFACT) and OASIS, developed with global participation for global usage.
Institute of Management & Administration (IOMA) - IOMA, The Institute of Management and Administration, publishes a broad range of high quality information products for business professionals. "Each of our products serves two purposes: to improve the efficiency of our subscriber, and to enhance the financial performance of the firm or organization." Hosts forum: Vendor Payment Information Online.
Open Applications Group, Inc. (OAG) - The Open Applications Group is a leading business software interoperability consortium. It advances industry awareness of issues and solutions regarding interoperability of software business components and strives to evolve those solutions into a best practices model while providing an impartial forum for all the stakeholders in the industry to further improve the model and learn.
Object Management Group, Inc. (OMG) - A consortium of software and hardware vendors and users dedicated to standards for distributed heterogeneous interoperability such as CORBA.
Rosetta.Net - The Rosetta Stone Consultancy specializes in database publishing systems for the web. They work with clients around the world to produce award-winning database sites. (United Kingdom and Netherlands)
Standards Bodies
ACORD (Insurance Industry) - Acord is the insurance industry's nonprofit standards developer, a resource for information about object technology, EDI, XML, and electronic commerce in the United States and abroad.
ANSI (American National Standards Institute) - A private sector, non-profit coordinator and clearinghouse on national and international standards.
Disa.org - Data Interchange Standards Authority—the Secretariat and administrative arm of ASC X12 to the American National Standards Association (ANSI)
FIPS - Federal Information Processing Standards. Under the Information Technology Management Reform Act, the Secretary of Commerce approves standards and guidelines that are developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for the federal government.
HL7 (Healthcare Industry) - Health Level Seven, Inc. is the non-profit standards developing organization that is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
UN/EDIFACT - United Nations/Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce, and Transport. An international standard for electronic data interchange (EDI for Administration, Commerce, and Trade) used especially widely in Western Europe. Similar to ANSI X12.
X12.org - Standards setting organization. ANSI X12 Standard—ANSI standard for cross-industry electronic interchange of business transactions. Guidelines or interpretations for the most effective use of the standard to specifically address the business needs of an industry.
