Biological and Environmental Research
The mission of the DOE's Office of Science Biological and Environmental Research is to develop the knowledge needed to identify, understand, and anticipate the long-term health and environmental consequences of energy production, development, and use. For this reason, major thrusts of the program include life sciences research, climate change, and environmental management analyses.
