Sandia holds thousands of patents, copyrights, trademarks, and maskworks that are available for licensing. Partners can license certain rights to Sandia-developed intellectual property for commercialization and/or private use. Licenses are usually nonexclusive and bear royalties. Exclusive licenses usually have limitations, such as the field or term of use, and performance requirements, such as commercialization results.
