Jennifer Plummer

Jennifer Plummer is Acting CFO and Vice President of Business Operations for Sandia Corporation. The corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation, and manages and operates Sandia National Laboratories, a multi-program Department of Energy research and development laboratory. The Business Operations Division Jennifer leads encompasses finance, accounting, procurement, property and logistics, business matrix operations, pension, and savings fund management. As a member of Sandia’s senior executive leadership team, she is responsible for developing and executing financial strategies, teaming with others on the leadership team to build relationships with key customers, cultivating new business, and providing reach-back to Lockheed Martin corporate resources. 

Prior to her Vice President role, Jennifer served as Director of Business Management Operations. In this capacity, she was responsible for providing organizations, programs, and project support while assuring connections and efficiencies through a business community network. In addition, Jennifer was the senior manager for the Defense Systems Division Business Operations responsible for all business and financial operations and human resource processes for this $550 million business area. She was also the project controls manager for construction of the $500 million Microsystems and Engineering Sciences Applications (MESA), a state-of-the-art national complex. Jennifer joined the Laboratories in 1992 and has served in various other capacities in Sandia’s Accounting and Finance, Executive Office, and Audit organizations. 

A lifelong resident of New Mexico, Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, and a certified Project Management Professional. She has earned a Master's of Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from the University of New Mexico. 

Jennifer’s community involvement includes United Way and Habitat for Humanity. She is married, with one daughter, and enjoys running, cycling, and cooking.
