The goal of the LTS Program is the long-term protection of human health and the environment from hazards associated with residual contamination at former Environmental Restoration Project (ER) sites, and minimization of Sandia’s environmental liability by ensuring environmental compliance with the requirements provided in multiple NMED permits. The LTS Program demonstrates Sandia’s commitment to human health and the environment through active public outreach.
