Sandia Laboratories is committed to mutually beneficial business relationships with contractors (both on- and off-site) and their management companies that work to support the completion of its mission.

Issues, concerns and interpersonal conflicts are occasionally part of all business relationships. "Gray areas" may exist and situations develop that may not be easily or clearly handled. Work cultures, interests and needs of Sandia and Sandians can differ and sometimes conflict with those of contractors and their contracting companies. Honoring and trying to meet all needs and interests is a worthwhile challenge and the Sandia Corporate Ombuds can help.  As an informal, confidential and neutral resource available to contractors and their managers, the Ombuds will listen, coach and help parties work toward constructive solutions.

The Ombuds may also serve as a safe, alternate path for contractors seeking guidance on how to surface serious concerns.  This includes providing information about formal resources available to contractors and contractor managers for addressing such concerns.
