We
specialize in membranes and processes for hydrogen production,
separation of industrial gases, and light hydrocarbon separations.
Our current projects center on oxygen generation, separation
of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane with polymer
membranes and processing issues to enable a synthetic fuels
infrastructure. Our facilities
include gas permeation units for characterizing the separation
performance of membranes, a synthetic lab for creating new materials,
a dip coater for making supported, thin film membranes and other
standard materials characterization equipment.
