This application is available to users with access to the Sandia Restricted network here. External business partners may access the application via the Sandia External Collaboration Network (ECN) here. For information on how to obtain an ECN account, refer to ECN Account Access. How will I know the badge is ready to be picked up?
In this case, since the individual already holds a clearance with another employer or facility a badge will not be issued. The Primary facility is the facility that issues the badge and since we would be “piggybacking” off of another facility SNL would not be considered the primary. The individual will use their HSPD-12 Federal Credential issued from their primary facility at SNL. Upon notification from the Personnel Security Clearance Office that the clearance has been extended, the individual will need to visit the Personnel Security Badge Office to have their HSPD-12 Federal Credential encoded for physical access at SNL.
How will my contractor receive the clearance instructions and paperwork?
When the above forms are submitted, Personnel Security will distribute an e-mail to the clearance applicant with additional paperwork and instructions.
