Applications: Infrastructures

CASoS Engineering has grown from and expands upon strategic, multidisciplinary analyses of interdependencies and the consequences of infrastructure disruptions developed by Sandia's arm of the National Infrastructure Simulation and Analysis Center (NISAC).

Department of Homeland Security identifies 18 critical infrastructures: Agriculture, Banking and Finance, Food, Energy, Transportation, Public Health, Emergency Services, Information and Telecommunications, Chemical Industry and Hazardous Materials, Government, Defense Industrial Base, Monuments and Icons, Postal and Shipping, and Water.
