Applications: Female Engagement Teams
In 2009, the U.S. initiated Female Engagement Teams to provide humanitarian engagement and medical care to female Afghans. By constructively engaging with female networks, FETs can better affect network opinions of international forces as a whole, helping counteract influences from opposing forces and promoting success in Afghanistan and increased global security.
