Overview
Sandia’s ASC program subscribes to the Basic Science Collaboration agreement established on April 16, 2002, between former NNSA Administrator John Gordon and Russia’s Minatom’s First Deputy Minister, Lev Ryabev. Based on the agreement, the three Defense Laboratories were tasked by Administrator Gordon to identify two or three areas of mutual scientific interest related to stockpile stewardship and that fit within the NNSA Defense Program campaign structure.
