The 823 Library is located at Sandia National Laboratories in Building 823, Room 2001, and is staffed from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
The 823 Library provides materials and services from its own core in-house research collection, or by borrowing from other libraries and collections.
Library Materials
- Hard copies of Yucca Mountain and WIPP SAND reports and other subject-related SAND reports
- Reports from other laboratories and governmental agencies, both national and international, including DOE, USGS, LLNL, LANL, PNL, NRC, EPA, ONWI, AECL, SKB, and Nagra
- Hard copies of the greater confinement disposal (GCD) and low-level waste (LLW) reports
- Reference materials such as the Code of Federal Regulations, handbooks and directories
- Books, periodicals, and conference papers
